Inspector for SWM (Salem)

This two-day course is for individuals conducting regulatory inspections for the stormwater component of a Virginia Erosion and Stormwater Management Program (VESMP) authority or entity with standards and specifications.

 

Individuals must complete the ESC Inspector course prior to attending this class.

  • Virginia stormwater management law and regulations
  • Basic stormwater principles
  • Construction general permit requirements
  • Stormwater best management practices (BMPs)

Materials:

  • Download and print Chapter 8 of the new Virginia Stormwater Management Handbook from ELMS  or purchase a copy from Bamboo Ink and bring it to class.
