  • Date: -

Public Notice

Title (Project Name): Liesfeld Farm Drive Extension and Roundabout

Description: Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., on behalf of Henrico County (the applicant), submitted a federal consistency certification (FCC) for the proposed construction of a new roundabout and roadway extension in Glen Allen, Virginia. Liesfeld Farm Drive will be extended west past the North Gayton Road intersection by 700 linear feet to a single lane roundabout. Improvements will be made to the existing intersection via the addition of signal updates, pedestrian accommodations and two turn lanes. Lighting improvements will be made, and a waterline will be installed along the Liesfeld Farm Drive corridor within a 10-foot-wide utility easement. A 30-foot-wide joint use utility easement is also proposed on both sides of the roadway right-of-way to serve future franchise utility needs. The applicant has submitted a Joint Permit Application and is applying for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Individual Permit. Therefore, an FCC was submitted to DEQ. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency with the enforceable policies of the Virginia Coastal Zone Management Program.
