Getting Started in myDEQ 

The myDEQ portal is DEQ’s comprehensive, online reporting tool that is available to users 24 hours a day, seven days per week. 

Currently, myDEQ allows users to: 

• Register new underground storage tanks
• View and update underground storage tank facility and owner information
• Submit Title V Annual Compliance Certification reports for air permits
• Submit annual Virginia Environmental Excellence Partnership program reports
• Submit annual  Solid Waste Information & Assessment reports
• Report and search pollution incidents
• View, apply for and re-certify stormwater or erosion and sediment control certifications
• Apply for and report on Litter Grant awards
• Submit VPDES Permit e-DMR reports (e-DMR instructional Videos) 
• Submit Water Permitting VPDES Registration Statement/Application
• Apply for a Wastewater Loan from the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (RLF)
• Apply for a Grant from the Stormwater Local Assistance Fund (SLAF)
• Enter, track, and report annual poultry waste (poultry litter) transfer records

Users can also benefit from:

• A comprehensive Items Due & In Progress list, which displays the upcoming items due and forms in progress for a given permit, membership or other type of record.
• The ability for an organization’s users to share and collaborate on forms or reports before they are submitted to DEQ and while under regulatory review.
• The ability to view up-to-date status for any submittal made to DEQ.
  The ability to communicate with DEQ about and submit revisions to applications or reports quickly and seamlessly.
• A comprehensive view of past, current and future reports and forms submitted and due for an owner, facility or single permit, across all DEQ programs that participate in myDEQ
• COMING SOON: A comprehensive overview of facility, owner or member data documents across all participating DEQ programs. 

My DEQ Portal Instructional Videos

Videos are available illustrating how to perform different activities in the myDEQ Portal system. The videos are short dealing with specific areas of the system which allows separately viewing of the needed information.  More videos will be added when available and should cover all areas of the eDMR reporting on myDEQ Portal.
