There are many options to provide your input described below.

Input provided by October 31,  2024 will be considered in the development of the draft plan.  Input will continue to be collected once the plan is drafted and finalized for consideration in future plan iterations. 

What kind of input are we looking for?

• Ways you connect to and/or use the ocean waters off Virginia’s shores (e.g., boating, fishing, for work). What ocean uses should we be considering in this plan? 

• What you value in and about the ocean waters off Virginia’s shores (e.g., healthy ecosystems, viewsheds, renewable energy development). What should Virginia protect and or promote in this plan? 

• Your concerns - specific or broad - for the ocean waters off Virginia’s shores.  What issues do you think this plan needs to address?

• Your priorities for the ocean waters off Virginia’s shores. The ocean is a busy place and use conflicts are a reality.  What uses, interests, or activities do you think should be prioritized? 

• Any stories or experiences about the ocean that you wish to share.
